The Queen Who Woke Up

One flash of lightning in a Pune archive, and Dr. Anaya Rao wakes in a silk-curtained bed in the lost kingdom of Suryagarh. She is wearing a crown, and the body is that of Queen Kiranmayi, 19, who is slowly being poisoned. Her husband, Maharaj Aditya Varman, is a king who trusts no one. He has noticed that his quiet queen now looks him straight in the eye. Around them the court plots, the Rajmata watches, and a rival king gathers his armies at the border. Anaya has to uncover the poisoner and keep a kingdom from war without anyone learning she isn't who she seems. She also has to decide what to do about a husband who is starting to matter to her.
